HOLT Renewables partnered with PACE, a nationally recognized wastewater treatment services provider, and the city of Bisbee to develop a 400kW solar system for Bisbee's wastewater treatment facility, the San Jose Wastewater Treatment Plant. The city needed to significantly reduce its current energy costs while setting future energy and environmental goals.
HOLT Renewables provided full solar engineering, design, and project management services for the project, delivered on-time and on-budget. The project exceeded the city's expectations, currently providing about 90 percent of the plant's energy needs, estimated to save the city $110,000 per year, and garnered the prestigious Arizona American Public Works Association (APWA) Small Cities/Rural Communities 2016 Project of the Year – Environment; Clean Water Project of the Year; and the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) 2015 Clean Water Project of the Year.FULL PROJECT DETAILS
