Project Description:
HOLT Renewables delivered a comprehensive solar and energy storage solution designed to enhance energy resilience and maximize site efficiency. The project includes the installation of two Tesla Megapack XL 2 units, each rated at 1,204.5 kW / 2,409 kWh, providing advanced grid support and intelligent energy management through a 12.47 kVAC interconnection.
In addition to the storage system, HOLT designed and constructed a 1.6 MWDC solar canopy consisting of 14 arrays. This dual-use design transforms existing parking infrastructure into a power-generating asset, optimizing land use while delivering clean energy.
From initial system design and utility interconnection applications with Pacific Gas and Electric Company to final commissioning, HOLT executed a full turnkey delivery. The project was completed in compliance with California Energy Commission standards, ensuring reliable performance and long-term value.
