Project Description:
HOLT Renewables delivered a utility-scale solar and storage solution designed to improve grid efficiency and maximize energy capture. The project includes a 9.01 MWdc solar PV system paired with a 1.5 MWh battery energy storage system.
The storage system is DC-coupled to Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. central inverters, enabling higher efficiency, reduced energy loss, and the ability to capture clipped energy during peak production. This configuration also enhances grid responsiveness and power control.
The solar array utilizes high-performance modules from Hanwha Q CELLS and is interconnected at the medium-voltage level for efficient power delivery. The system was designed and constructed to meet UL standards, ensuring reliable, long-term operation.
