At HOLT Renewables, it takes dedicated and passionate individuals to bring our solar and energy projects to life — people like Tyler Valet. As a Project Manager, Tyler plays a key role in ensuring our projects not only meet deadlines but also exceed expectations for quality and service. Whether he’s mapping out the next steps on a complex site or collaborating with colleagues in the office, Tyler approaches each day with a clear commitment to his team and customers.

Tyler’s work on projects such as the Cavender Auto solar installation in San Antonio demonstrates his attention to detail and his focus on delivering results. “As a project manager, deadlines are very important,” Tyler explains. “But I also understand that things happen in construction. I like to stay flexible while remaining committed to supporting my team and ensuring we provide an excellent experience for the customer.” Each morning, Tyler starts with a to-do list, thoughtfully considering how he can best support his team across active projects, always keeping HOLT’s Values Based Leadership approach at the forefront of his work.

For Tyler, those values are more than just words — they’re a daily guide. “They remind me to lead with integrity, take pride in my work, stay committed to safety, and always give my best for the team and our customers,” he says. It’s this mindset that fuels his passion for teamwork. Tyler thrives on collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds, exchanging ideas, and seeing plans come to life on the job site. “I’ve always been a team-oriented person, which is one reason I still coach sports today,” he shares.

Outside of work, Tyler brings that same spirit of dedication and teamwork to his community. He coaches varsity high school lacrosse at Bowie High School and enjoys spending time with his dog, Bear. When he’s not at a game or practice, you might find him watching Alabama football with friends or out for a bike ride on a sunny day.

Tyler’s values and work ethic were shaped early on. He grew up in Boone, a small town in North Carolina, where his family ran a motel — an experience that gave him a lifelong appreciation for customer service. As the oldest of three brothers, with a father who served in the military, Tyler learned the importance of hard work and commitment from an early age. Today, those lessons continue to guide him as he helps lead renewable energy projects that make a lasting impact.

We’re grateful for Tyler’s dedication, leadership, and the positive example he sets every day at HOLT Renewables.
